Google has perhaps more than any other company become “The Internet Company.” It’s grown hand in hand with the internet and its entire business model has from the start been totally focused on the internet as a delivery platform.
And let’s face it, Google is a pretty interesting company. In fact, we think it’s so interesting that we put together this infographic with a ton of facts and figures about Google. The world first floating bed - Amazing !!
Consider this one for the record books. Know this is not furniture any of us will have, or even see for a long time, but here is just the way things are going in this day of technological advancement.
Dutch architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars worked for six years to develop this floating black platform using opposing magnets that repel each other to create the world first floating bed dining table.
Ruijssenaars was inspired by the mysterious monolith in Stanley Kubrick s 1968 cult film 2001: A Space Odyssey. Thin steel cables tether the $1.54 million dollar modern sleeping platform that the designer admits needs some comfortable bedding, in place holding out for them mass produced version that will significantly drop the price so can be the first on my block to float to sleep.
